Sunday School
At Christ Church the children are very much part of the family. So we begin all our services together for singing, prayers and the Bible reading. The children are then invited to join in the various Sunday school groups to look at the Bible in a relevant, engaging and interactive way. In our younger groups we use story telling, drama, crafts and games. The older groups engage in Bible studies to encourage and equip them to begin to read the Bible for themselves.
A crèche is available during each service, where children can be left to play, listen to stories and enjoy a drink and biscuit. The only exception is during family services. We don’t mind a little extra noise at these service and encourage parents to keep little ones with them. If, however children become too restless, or need to escape, the crèche room is always available with the audio from the main service relayed through.
